Commissioned gift for friend

A friend of mine Satu asked a long time ago if I could make her a pouch for her external hard drive. I had just then bought napkins from drift store and I knew it was the right fabric to her. But I was still living a slow time at creativity so the pouch was left at shelf to wait for a better moment.

Satu's birthday was at this month so I finally got a grip of myself and made the pouch ready. Little bit linen sash and some lace and it was finished. It has a thin wadding inside so the hard drive will stay safe in a bag.


I call this a proto type since I had some problems with the wadding. I am thinking of making more of these and I will learn how to make them easier.

Uudet neulatyynyt

Miulla on aina ollut hyvin surullisen näköinen neulatyyny, jonka sain vanhan ompelukorin mukana. No, vihdoin ajattelin, että kyllä mie ansaitsen hieman sievemmän version.

Kävin kierrätyskeskuksessa ostamassa kauneimman vanhan kahvikupin minkä löysin. Kupin pohjalle asetin muutaman vaahtomuovipalan tueksi ja päällimmäiseksi palloksi rypytetyn kankaan täytettynä vanulla.

Lisäksi tein myös liikuteltavamman version nukkekodin patjaohjetta ja tyynyn keskelle ompelin koristeeksi napin.

Vielä tässä joku päivä teen sellaisen käteen pujotettavan mallin.
